Dear prayers partners,

Pray for Akram from Muslim background. On one Friday he heard the children singing and came up to see the singing. He sat through the meeting and he said he was very happy. Then he came up for prayer. As soon as he got prayed over he felt peace and started crying. I told him that he would see a dream that night. He came back the next day and said that for the first time he slept peacefully and he saw a dream in which he thinks Jesus was challenging him to follow Him. Ever since that day God is blessing him. Now he has a job. Pray that he will able to stand boldly in spite of opposition at home.

Pray that our Friday school children will get permission from their parents for baptism.

About three weeks ago we were asked to share the Gospel among the laborers living in tents in the heart of Bangalore city. The first time about 21 showed up for the meeting. Most of them heard the Gospel for the first time, and they all accepted Jesus. Yesterday was the third meeting. There is a gradual increase in attendance. But these live in makeshift tents on land that is owned by the government. Now the government officials are forcing them to vacate the premises. Pray that they will be able to find another place to move to. They are thinking that this is happening because they accepted Jesus.

It is school vacation time for the Friday Bible children. Their number is slowly increasing. Every year we take them out on a short picnic. We do want to take them this year also. So please pray that we will get enough funds to take them on a picnic.

The Lord has given us a burden to pray for couples who have no children. Priya, one of our first converts, was married for six years without children. Her husband is not a believer. They tried many kinds of medical solutions for conception. Then she gave up hope, but we encouraged her to pray in a specific way. She conceived, and she has a baby now. She lives in Chennai. We went there to dedicate the baby. So many came to pray. One of them is Deepa, a Hindu without any issues. I advised her to pray daily to Jesus and pray over a glass of water and drink it every day for 30 days. On the 31st day she missed her period and now she is pregnant. Pray for the baby and their salvation. Now many childless couples are lining up to meet Priya. God has given her the gift that when she prays the barren person conceives. I remember asking you to pray for her. Priya's family wants us to start a prayer meeting in their house.

Pray for Krupa, my eldest daughter. She has graduated from university with Journalism and Psychology. She wants to pursue her studies toward a Master's degree. Since we do not have funds please pray that God will enable us to raise funds for her studies.

In working among the poorest of the poor, we come across so many children, the children of our believers. Most of them don't go to school, especially among the bull people. And these children are vulnerable to the deception of the enemy when the parents are gone to work. They are so much exploited. From the beginning, the Lord has given us a burden for these children. We want to start some kind of welfare program for them. We want to educate them, feed them, and shelter them, and raise them in the fear of God. I have located an ideal place to set up a shelter for these kinds of children, and also for the destitute. One acre of land costs $50,000, and for this project we will need at least a half acre, which will cost $25,000. I request that you not only pray for this project, but also support it financially, as you are led by the Lord. This is a very huge amount for us, but if we chip in as much as we can it is not difficult to get started.
