Dear friends and prayer partners,
It is a long time since I sent the last newsletter. The main reason is that someone hacked into my email account and I lost all my contacts. Though we remember you in our prayers we are unable to communicate to you because of the email hacking.
We are completing one more year and as the new year is ushered in it reminds us that we are much closer to His appearing than ever before. So let us encourage one another — and all the more as we see the Day approaching. Once again we want to thank you for all your prayers and thank God for sustaining us. We continue to look forward to your partnership and we would appreciate your prayers.
Prayer and praise reports
- Sharadamma, from Hindu background, was suffering from cancer. She accepted Jesus and now she says that the Lord has healed her. She has stopped taking medicine and witnesses to her faith in the Lord Jesus. Pray that our Lord will sustain her and increase her Faith.
- Kumar, from Hindu background, was suffering from various kinds of ailments but now, after accepting and trusting the Lord Jesus, he has recovered from all his sickness. Pray that he will continue in the faith.
- Raja, also from Hindu background, gets up at two in the morning and wanders all over while asleep and finds himself in dangerous places (parks, main roads, etc.) when he comes to his senses. He has accepted the Lord of the Gospel and now he no more sleep-walks. Pray that he will have freedom to exercise faith.
- Ruth, one of our believers, lost her mother to a massive heart attack. Please pray that God will comfort and console her. She is a widow.
- Nisha, our believer's daughter, suffered fracture of her thumb when the class teacher punished her. She underwent a long surgical procedure. Pray for her healing.
- We are yet to get a worker to take care of the Bull people. Pray we will be able to get a worker for the Bull people ministry. We also want to give them a dinner party for Christmas.
- We are having the Christmas program for the Friday Kids on the Sixteenth of December, and we are expecting around 200 including kids and parents. Pray that we will be able to share the reason of Jesus coming to this world and also will get enough funds for the dinner party.
- My Landlord's daughter is getting married in the first week of February 2012. Since he is running short of money he wants to lease* out the first floor where we conduct our church services, programs, and meetings. Presently he has rented these premises for us to conduct church service. Pray that God will enable us to raise money to lease the premises. (* Lease means he will allow us to continue to use the premises for a period of three to five years for a returnable deposit of $16,000 at the end of the lease period. No rent is charged during this period.) I would appreciate any support you can extend to help raise the amount needed for the lease deposit.
