A Special Appeal 25 June, 2010

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Since the beginning our vision has been to locate the lost and to foster the found in home churches. We are preaching the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ to many diverse groups in our society— for example, the bull people. Many have turned their lives toward God and have been baptized. We continue to depend upon, and greatly appreciate, your constant prayers and support, which are vital to the success of our ministry of the Gospel.

We are also committed to rescuing those newly saved ones whose lives are in danger because of their faith in the Lord Jesus, by sheltering them and feeding them until they can safely lead independent and fulfilling lives. God has been using us always to shelter the destitute, the orphans, and the homeless; to raise them in the fear and knowledge of God. The essence of the Gospel is to protect and care for those who are vulnerable to exploitation and abuse by the enemy.

At present we have ten girls, ages five to fifteen, who are in desperate need of shelter and education. We have prayed for a place to accommodate these girls. We have found a three-bedroom house available for lease a block away from ours. (Lease means they will let us occupy the house without rent, after paying a deposit. This deposit will be returned after the lease period. Normally the lease period lasts for three or five years).

Ever since we found out about this house we are praying to take it up. In order to lease this house we must deposit a returnable amount of $8,000. We can manage only part of that amount, so I felt in my heart that I should come to friends and prayer partners with this huge concern. Please pray that the Lord will provide the shelter these girls need. If the Lord leads you to do so, please help, and also please ask your friends to help if they are so led.

The landlord has told me that he will lease the house on a "first-come" basis, so time is of the essence. We are counting on the valuable advice, prayers, and gifts of our friends.
